This is one of Poland's largest museums presenting art and culture of the Black land. Items collected in the halls of the Museum visitors bring Olkusz daily life, culture, traditions and beliefs of the tribes of West and Central Africa. It was founded in 1971 by darfom Bogdan Szczygiel, olkusz doctor, writer, who spent several years in Africa. The exposition presents the everyday equipment, costumes, masks, ritual musical instruments, biżuetrię and weapons from different regions of Africa.
